Prompt: Describe how gender roles or patriarchy influence your identity?

Gender roles are a big part of my culture they make it known that you serve the man. You are a stay at home mom that cleans, tidy keeps the home a 'home' the food will always be done when you're home. This influences me by teaching me and maintaining me to be a clean, tiny and always helping around it also taught me to be self taught is influences my maturity the way i have grown up and the stuff i do even the way i act. Today in class we worked on our masks and created what made us who we are and what influences us to be us. this impacted me the most because i had to sit there and think about what describes me and my culture this information is something that could be useful in certain jobs and in ways trying to find myself.
