Prompt: Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

A time that I had to step out of my comfort zone would have been during second period junior year I always enjoyed sitting in the back on my own and I never liked talking to people in  my classes I would just sit down and mind my own business then this girl walks into the class looking for a seat there is a lot of seats still open and she was coming my way and ended up sitting next to me not too long in the class she started talking to me and at this point I didn't want to talk it was too early in the morning and she was a random stranger I didn't know what to say but she still kept trying to make conversation with me and I decided to give it a try and start talking to her she was actually very nice and very open and talkative I had never met anyone as pure heart as her not only was she very nice and knew how to have a decent conversation but she was very funny too not long after this i became more  open and talkative I started making friends and actually having conversation with others I don't know if it was because of her that I decided to become a different person but thanks to her and her helping me come out of my comfort zone of always being by myself and staying true to myself that I became the person that I am today without her I wouldn't know how to decently communicate with others. Today in class we continued talking about the book wild and we continued to speak on about it and the other types of hiking, Today I learnt that there are other types of hiking and that some last longer than others such as like one day up too six months or even a year or so.
