Consider your experience reading The Color Purple (a fictional novel), Fences (a play/drama), and Wild (a nonfiction memoir). Which type of longer text did you enjoy the most, the novel, the play, or the memoir, and which did you find the most challenging? Explain your preference, describe what made that type of text more engaging or accessible for you, and reflect on how understanding your preference might influence how you approach future readings

One of the best reading experiences in the whole year would have to be the fictional novel  the color purple it is very complex and has to be a very unique novel it expresses a lot of personal problems that have gone through other people's lives it also expresses itself and other problems that are seen on a daily basis it very well expresses what happens in families families that have been destroyed or someone that has gone through a traumatic death in the family like when celie's mother was shown that she died out of a heartbreak that had a double meaning of what her father had done to her I love the color purple because it has a very constructive argumentative experience this book completely shifted my perspective in life and in certain problems I understood how to view things on a different type of view book became very accessible to me by my teacher it very well expressed myself and my way of thinking this book really helped me understand how to pick up details and understand what is truly going on by reading it as I go along it very well showed me how to pick details and things that have been said or done or certain type of similes and metaphors that align to another type of meaning The Color Purple is a book I definitely recommend to people that struggle with understanding small details because it is something that is implied very easily and very effectively Today In class we sat and listened to the two groups that pretend there class discussion, today I learned a lot of about my peers and there experiences.
