Prompt: Why is drafting an essential step in the writing process rather than going straight to a final version? Use your own experience from this essay to explain how drafting improved (or revealed weaknesses in) your thinking.

when writing an essay the drafting is one of the most important parts to me in my opinion the drafting helps you really understand how to write your essay what you want first what you want after and how to very well Express the quotes that you have written down while writing my essay I didn't get  far in writing my draft which is something that I'm really pointed about I realized that I messed up an opportunity that would have helped me I write my essay better the draft was something that I have always seen as important step when writing the draft helps you stay organized and adjusted it helps you understand what you need to write and talk about you get a clear understatement of something that would be a template for what you have to do the templates are always something that is pre-run to make sure that everything is well and fit together and stays put this is how I think about drafts they are like a construction paper where you lay out a format that you specifically want and follow it but with your own little tweaks that you want to add this is why I think the draft is very important to when writing your essay. In class we continued working on some of our papers to get ready for Thursday, I learned about specific quotes in Wild by Cheryl Strayed that had a deeper meaning more the second time than the first time.
